Star Wars: Tales of the Darkside: Designed to mimic the art direction of Genndy Tartakovsky's brilliant adaptation of the clone wars, not the later cg show but the earlier cartoon series that originally bridged episodes two and three of the prequel star wars films. In this all new series we take a look at the workings of ancient and concurrent darkside users as we chronicle the rise of some of the most notorious villains in the now defunct expanded history of the star wars universe. Launching as a series of short films set in different time periods, all the entries will build upon a much larger narrative telling the story of darkside in a way never seen before.
The Darkside of the force, a pathway to abilities some consider unnatural. In this new adaptation we chronicle some of the galaxies greatest secrets as perspectives follow legendary characters who come into their own as powerful sith lords, interceptors and infiltrators, and not everything is as it seems. The first order is on the rise now but they were not the first to rise from the Darkside, and Anakin Skywalker was not the first hero to fall to sway of the darkside. in some cases delving as far back to a time before the jedi order the overarching plot will attempt to unlock the mysteries of the well known darkside we really know little about. Through the time of the old republic and the mandalorian blockade, to the swamplands of modern day first order occupied planets, and to the time of the rebellion against the Empire, the sith ruthlessly pursued the Jedi with the intent of wiping them and all trace of their past from existence, but like the two sides of a coin, one cannot exist with out the other.
